| Billingshurst Choral Society was formed in 1986, and is now an active and friendly amateur choir with over 100 singing members. We perform four main concerts a year in Billingshurst, West Sussex and the surrounding area. In 2000 at Chichester Cathedral we gave the first performance of the Billinghurst Mass by Stanley Vann, and in 2003, together with The Angmering Chorale, we gave the first performance in the South of England of The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins. Every two years we organise a concert tour to the continent. In January 2007 we travelled to Carnegie Hall in New York together with The Angmering Chorale to perform Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man. We enjoy the music we sing, and new members are welcome! |
