| Wallingford Chameleon Arts promotes a series of summer concerts - "Music at St Peter's" - between May and September in the 18th-century church of St Peter on the Thames at Wallingford. Now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, St Peter's is in a classic shoe-box shape and has naturally excellent acoustics. There is a stage in the chancel with front lighting and concealed overhead lighting. The capacity is about 150. "Music at St Peter's" will be in its 25th season in 2010. Concerts are given by professional musicians, and are mostly of chamber music with some vocal and or choral music. By popular demand, the season usually ends with a concert by a semi-professional local group, the Thames Consort.
By arrangement with the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust, we offer free admission to children and students in full-time education aged 22 and under.
Season tickets are available for all nine Saturday evening concerts - less than the price of seven bought in advance. Individual ticket details & prices are given in our brochure and are available via phone or on the web www.wegottickets.com(slash)location(slash)4119
