How to apply
Arts & Business New Partners has a straightforward application process. The Essential Guidance and Information documents will answer most of your questions. However, if you need help, please contact your local Arts & Business office.

1. Read the Essential Guidance and Information documents
2. Consult with your partner and agree your project(s)
3. Complete the Project Proposal form
4. Send the completed form to your local Arts & Business office

The Project Proposal form is also available as a Microsoft Word™ document, which we can send you via email. If you would like a copy, please request one from partners.form@AandB.org.uk

What happens next?

Stage 1 - Regional Panel
1.We will acknowledge receipt of your proposal within 7 working days.
2. A Regional Panel, meeting regularly, will consider your fully completed Project Proposal. This Panel decides which proposals go forward to stage 2, and with what recommendations.

Stage 2 - Project work-up
3.Successful proposals are developed into full projects, with the assistance of your Project Manager. The Regional Director will approve all investments formally at the end of the work-up period.
4.If your project is successful, there will be a formal contract between Arts & Business, the arts organisation and the business partner. This will include a payment schedule.
5.If unsuccessful, you may wish to re-work your proposal. You can re-submit it for consideration at a subsequent Regional Panel meeting.

Stage 3 - Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Did it make a difference? (Evaluating community-based arts and business partnerships)
  • Did it work for you? (Evaluating business sponsorship of the arts)
  • Did it deliver? (Evaluating arts-based training inside business)

    6. We may use this evaluation to promote business/arts partnerships to others.
    7. Your Project Manager is available to assist you to develop your partnership into new areas.
  •
    Timetable
There are no formal submission deadlines for your Project Proposal. However, if your project, or idea, needs to happen at a certain time you should consider when you will need a final decision from us and plan your submission accordingly. Your local Arts & Business office can give you more guidance on this.
