November sees the launch of the Awards for All Micro Grants Pilot Programme in England. 12 individual schemes aimed at specific communities will run until July 2005, giving small community groups the chance to apply for grants of between £50 and £500 to support or sustain community activities and improve quality of life.

  • Arun- Older people in Littlehampton, Rustington and East Preston Awards for All - 01483 462905

  • Eastbourne- Hampden Park including Willingdon Trees Action in Rural Sussex - 01273 473422

  • Medway- Black and Minority Ethnic Communities Kent Community Foundation - 01303 814500

  • Each scheme is open to groups that work for the benefit of the people and places shown on the map. We will fund not-for-profit voluntary or community groups which have an annual income of less than £7,000, are committed to equal access and opportunity and have a set of rules.

A grant may be used for all sorts of things including equipment, training, stationery, room hire or costs associated with setting up new groups or activities.

If you think you could use a grant to help your community then call us on one of the above numbers and we will send you a short form to complete but feel free to contact us at any time as we are here to help.
